I’m no longer on the market for a new job, what should I do?

Update your profile status when you're no longer looking for a new role.

Whether you have landed a fantastic opportunity or simply need to take a breather, it is important to update your hackajob profile when you are no longer actively looking for a new job, and are "off the market."

To get started, log in to your hackajob account using your credentials. If you have not signed up yet, don't worry – it's easy to create a free account and become part of our thriving tech community.

Once you have logged in, navigate to your dashboard. Look for the option that displays your current profile status. Click on your current status to open a drop-down menu of options and select "Go off the market" to indicate that you are no longer actively looking for a new job.

After selecting "Go off the market," your profile status will be updated accordingly. As a result, you will no longer be visible to employers, and you will not receive any new interview requests. Rest assured that your profile will remain in this "off the market" status until you inform us that you're ready to explore new opportunities once again.

Even if you are not currently seeking a job, there is still plenty you can do on hackajob! Feel free to browse our media content, tackle coding challenges, and showcase your past coding projects. Our platform is designed to support your growth and development in the tech community.
