How do I manage interviews?

All you need to know to manage interview processes through hackajob.

The Interviews tab helps you keep track of all your ongoing interview processes in one place.

Once you have accepted an interview request, it will appear in your Interviews section so you can manage it clearly and stay organised.

Viewing your interviews

In the Interviews tab, you’ll see a board view that shows the different stages of your interview process.

Each interview card represents a role you are currently progressing with. This allows you to quickly understand:

  • Which stage you are in
  • What interviews are upcoming
  • Which processes are completed

Click on any interview to see full details.

Interview details

Inside each interview, you can view:

  • Date and time
  • Company information
  • Interview stage
  • Any additional instructions or notes

From this view, you can:

  • Confirm your attendance
  • Reschedule if necessary
  • Decline if your situation has changed

❗ If you have a first-stage interview scheduled and no meeting link is visible, the interview will usually take place by phone. The employer will contact you directly using the details provided after you accept the request.

Messaging the employer

Within the interview details, you can message the employer directly.

This is useful if you need clarification about the format, preparation requirements or logistics. Clear communication helps ensure both sides are aligned before the interview.

Staying organised

Managing interviews centrally means you do not need to rely on scattered emails or manual tracking. You can see your entire interview pipeline at a glance and stay in control of your progress.
