How do I block employers from seeing my profile?

If you wish to maintain your privacy and prevent certain employers from accessing your profile, we've got you covered.

We understand that privacy is important when you're on the market for a new role. That's why we provide you with the option to block employers that you don't want to see your profile.

How to block an employer

  1. Go to Settings in the main menu.
  2. Stay in the Account section.
  3. Find Blocked employers.
  4. Click the edit icon.
  5. Start typing the company name and select it from the dropdown list.
  6. Click Save.

The blocked employer will no longer be able to view your profile or send you interview or application requests.

If you do not see a company in the list, it means they are not currently hiring through hackajob, so no action is needed.

You can update your blocked employers list at any time.
