How does hackajob partner with employers?
hackajob connects you with companies in a more focused way than traditional job boards.
Instead of sending your CV to dozens of roles, you create one structured profile and Archer works continuously to find strong alignment between you and open roles.
When you create your profile, you share your experience, skills and preferences such as salary expectations, location and working style. Archer uses this information to understand your background in context, not just as a list of keywords. He considers related skills, transferable experience and what employers are actively looking for.
This is how opportunities appear on your account.
1. You apply to matched roles
When your profile is live, Archer reviews your experience, preferences and expectations to identify strong matches. You will see these roles in your Dashboard and Apply tab.
Each role includes an explanation of why it aligns with your background. You can review the details and apply directly using your hackajob profile.
Your hackajob profile is structured and easy to read, and you can also download it to use in applications outside the platform if you wish.
2. Companies reach out to you
Some companies prefer to review matched profiles and contact candidates directly. If there is strong alignment, they can send you an interview request.
You will see the full role details before deciding whether to accept or decline. Your contact details are not shared unless you choose to move forward.
You can also block specific companies from viewing your profile in your account settings, including your current employer. This gives you full control over who can see and contact you.
How matching works
Matching is based on multiple factors working together. Archer considers:
- Your experience and career history
- Related and transferable skills
- Salary expectations
- Location and working preferences
- Right to work and any required clearances
- Role specific requirements set by the employer
Keeping your profile complete and up to date improves the quality of your matches. The more accurate your information, the better Archer can identify opportunities that genuinely fit.
