We'd hate to see you go, so if you're considering deleting your account, we want to ensure that you've explored all possible alternatives. However, if you've made up your mind and want to proceed with deleting your account, we're here to guide you through the process. Read on to learn more.
Before taking the step of deleting your account, we encourage you to consider these alternatives that might address your concerns:

Receiving too many emails: If you're overwhelmed by the number of emails you receive from us, we recommend adjusting your notification preferences instead. You can easily customize the types of notifications and the delivery method (email or SMS) to suit your needs.

No longer seeking a job: If you've already found a job or are not actively looking for a new one, we suggest putting your profile "off the market" instead of deleting your account. This way, your profile remains dormant until you're ready to go live again in the future if you decide to seek new opportunities.

No suitable job opportunities: If you're not finding suitable job opportunities or not receiving interview requests, we encourage you to get in touch with your Talent Success Manager. They are here to assist you and might be able to help in your job search process.
If after considering these alternatives, you're still determined to delete your account, please follow the steps below.
To initiate the account deletion process, log in to your hackajob account using your credentials. If you've forgotten your login details, you can follow the account recovery process to regain access.
Once you're logged in, navigate to the "Settings" page and look for the option to "Deactivate account." Click on the associated edit icon to proceed.
You'll be presented with a list of options to deactivate your account. Choose the option that best aligns with your reason for account deletion. This helps us understand your decision and gather feedback to improve our services.
After selecting the appropriate deactivation option, click on the "Deactivate Account" button to confirm the deletion. Please note that account deletion is permanent, and once completed, we will not be able to reactivate your account or retrieve any associated data.
